Patient Care Technician (PCT)

If the idea of combining hands-on job activities with lots of clinical-type work sounds attractive to you, then a career as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) may be just what the doctor ordered. You will get to collect and test laboratory specimens, perform EKGs, draw blood and assist with diagnostic tests, help during patient examinations, and assist with medical equipment set-ups.

Prerequisite: You must have completed the Certified Nursing Assistant Program before making application to the PCT program.
